A product designer with both technical and business backgrounds, I connect dots to deliver great experiences for good people.
With 10+ years experience creating in the digital space, I've helped dozens of clients design, build, and implement end-to-end solutions across many industries & contexts. Resourceful, curious, and willing to get in the weeds, I lead clients and teams through the fog/smoke/mysterious ether

- I’m exceptional at untangling and understanding highly technical domains & enterprise-sized challenges, unafraid to ask clarifying questions, and great at getting folks confidently up to speed.
- A volunteer outdoor educator, (mostly) self-taught developer, business graduate, and artist, I’ve got a vast, diverse knowledge base and an outstanding lateral thinking capability.
- I ask a lot of questions, have a great radar for important nuances, linchpin details, normalized idiosyncrasies, and smart workarounds that bring about insights for huge unlocks or quick wins: there’s always something that can be done!
- Perceiving the larger scope of behavioural, cultural, historical norms and heuristics in a problem space is just as important as technical facts. This context is essential for managing adoption and change.
- Big fan of OOUX (Object Oriented UX) approaches for structuring information architecture, content, and taxonomy to create well-formed requirements, ASAP, that make sense and are accessible, understood, and useful to technical, business, design and civilian stakeholders.
- I’m all about crafting the right artifacts, workshops, copy and fidelities for the job, ensuring the right story is being told. A strong presenter, facilitator, and natural leader, I’m proud of my ability to build bridges, create alignment, and have fun, too.
- I’m solidly in the “form follows function” camp - designing UI is fun, but I believe in solving for flow, content needs, and information architecture before attempting to give shape to requirements.
- I’m cautious but curious about emerging technologies and love to play around in emergent spaces (e.g. agentic AI-assisted-engineering for prototyping is cool, but a real eng brings a certain je ne sais quoi.)
